Default Passenger footpeg relocation

So Mama really like the '96 Shadow 1100, but the footpegs are a bit high for her comfort. At first glance, relocation could be tough due to how the pipes flow - any ideas? Boards any better than pegs for her complaint?

thanks -

Waynesville cycle has extensions that go over the pipes. do a search on 'waynesville' you will get lot of info.

I don't konw if it still has the stock seat but if you get a mustang it puts her butt up a lot higher wich will have the same effect of lowering the pegs. Might be a little more expensive though

I bought the foot peg relocation kit from Waynesville Cycle. IMHO they are not worth the cost of shipping. I ended up getting a set of Cobra passenger floorboards and they are really first class and give enough leg movement that they work very well. They are actually a little lower than the stock pegs and they allow the passenger to move there feet forward enough to relieve the strain.

After my wife getting on my 2002 1100 Spirit for the first time, in 15 minutes she had enough. Her legs were way to uncomfortable. So after we got back the bike went right into my shop and fabbed up a set of new pegs. Now she will go anywhere with me. I made them to fit in the stock brackets and go on and off in minutes.
If I can figure out how I will post pictures.
Can anyone tell me how to post pictures?
Mike

To post an image here you first have to save it somewhere, like if you have webspace somewhere for a private website you can save it there, then once you have it there load it in your browser so that you can copy the URL (web address), for my picture it is: "http://home.comcast.net/~lj_robins/pix/pic11.jpg" (without the quotes).

Then come back here and press the "Img" button that is up above the compose window, then paste the URL that you copied then press the "Img" button again, you should end up with something that looks like:

[ img ] http://home.comcast.net/~lj_robins/pix/pic11.jpg [ /img ] (I put spaces in mine for clarity, yours won't have them).

If you do it right your picture will appear after you hit the SUBMIT button, or you can also do PREVIEW to check it before you post it for good.

Mine comes out as:

You can do the same thing with links to other websites that you want to share by using the URL button instead of the Img button.

I didn't have any problems with my set used them for several years before selling them - I know some people had some de-chroming issues.

Probably a crap-shoot like Cobra products (mostly exhaust) a few years ago pretty much sucked - but I think they have improved as well.
