I am getting some new drag style handle bars for my 88 vt1100c. The bars on it now are curled down slightly. This make the clutch and brake master cylinders curl at an offset angle. I was wondering if anyone knew whether i can relocate the master cylinders or if there is a low profile type. I am running all wires internally and want to keep with the clean lines look. Any help would be greatly appreciated

IMO, if you really want your master cylinders to be straight, the easiest way is to use newer Honda MC's that are straight. If the front disc is the same size, use the brake MC from a newer (2000 +) 1100 and a clutch MC from a valk or a vtx1800. If you really wanted to get fancy you could probably use remote MC's mounted under the tank or something actuated by cables - but I think that's way more trouble than it's worth
I have the same problem on my vt800, but other than needing to tweak the mirrors, it isn't really a problem at all. Originally I bent the mirror stems to compensate, but over the weekend I got some bar-end mirrors to use instead.
