I'm a newbie
I bought a 92 Shadow VT1100, and I am waiting on a battery to show up so I figured I would give the bike a look-over. Also, where is a good place to get parts for these bikes. I've heard a lot of buzz about the conversion to a heel/toe shifter, is it worth it? Where's a good place to find the coversion kits if it is? Thanks, Aaron |

I like mine, much easier to shift up with it, no lifting of the toe required. Press down with the heel to shift up, press down with your toe to shift down.
No conversion kit needed, just replace one shift lever with another.

Mine was on the bike when I got it. But looking at the regular ones and mine, it should be just one screw and slip the old one off, and the new one on.
I've seen them on bikes with floorboards and pegs. It should be fully adjustable for your boards and feet.
