I am wondering if it's normal for me to not be able to start my bike at all without have the choke all the up or on....and it's doesn't matter if it's cold or hot, if I try in the morning, or afternoon...what could be the problem, I believe it's warm outside, I should not have to start with choke correct?

So, no you will not be able to start a 'cold' engine without choking it". There are some caveats - like after I rejetted mine would start with no choke at 60F or above most of the time, and needs very little choke even on cold days. Prior to jetting it would only start unchoked if the engine was still fairly warm from running. |
