Mobile 1 5W40 synthetic

Has anyone tried Mobile 1 5W40 synthetic diesel motor oil and if so, what do you think? I have wanted to try the Rotella synthetic but haven't been able to find it and I can't remember reading anything about this oil in a motorcycle.

Mobil 1

They carry the Rotella synthetic at Walmart and you can buy a gallon for about the same price as 2 quarts of Mobil 1. I paid $18 for it at Walmart last week.

Which Rotella do you buy? There's the Normal Rotella, and there are a couple of Rotella Synthetic, if my memory serves me well, the Rotella synthetic says: 5w-30 or something similar, I am not sure though.
Which one would you recommend?
My local WalMart sells Rotella synthetic for $22, I don't understand such a wide gap in prices from WallMart.

I just bought a jug for $22.00 bucks too. There were some other brands of 10W/30 non-enery conserving that I was tempted to try. AND, it would have only cost about a buck or two more. Well. next time.

Same price here. I bought a couple of jugs of the Rotella T dyno for $18 in the spring. I just got a gallon of the Synthetic to do my next oil change. What to see if it quites the ticking some.

If you have ticking - it would be interesting to see a post on the difference after switching to the Rotella synthetic.
I had a slight ticking before, and when I switched from Honda HP Pro 10w-40 (I believe it was a synthetic blend) to the Rotella T 15w-40, I can no longer hear the ticking. I picked up the Rotella synthetic along with the conventional dino 15w-40, so I'm thinking of switching to the synthetic come around spring time, about time for the next oil & filter change.
Anyway so far I am very satisfied with the Rotella 15w-40 and it wouldn't really bother me if I stick to it, but I am curious of the Rotella 5w-40 synthetic. I'm also satisfied using the Purolator Pure One filter - cheaper than the stock and about 3/4" longer - nice quality.
