Battery?

I have a '05 1100 spirit with the original battery. The bike starts ok but it is getting a little long in the tooth. How do I find out if the battery is failing?
What should I get to replace it? where do I find one?

go with a agm battery they are better than a flooded and higher cca. mine is 230cca! they run about 80 dollars.

Been riding my bike off and on over the winter (nice living in the south!), but last week I needed to get my pickup truck worked on so I took it in.
That morning (with my truck gone) the bike wouldn't start (even though I'd been keeping it on the battery tender.) GRRR!

So I took out my old T-style p.o.s. and got one from here.

Ordered it on Thursday and got it Monday (yesterday). Pretty darn quick.

Several people on this site have recommended them and I think it works out well. The fit was snug (I used a hammer and made the battery tray a tiny bit wider). Nothing drastic.
