Default ACE VT1100 Gas Tank Replacement

hey guys. i have an ACE VT1100 97' and i'm looking to give to my bike a "thinner" look. now, i did some things but it all comes down to the gas tank. its way too fat. do you know if there are specific models of the shadow line that might fit instead of the one i have know?

the tank from the 1987 to 1996 shadow 1100 will bolt up with to problem. it holds 3.4 gals. and is thinnner than your tank that holds 4.3 gal. i did the switch the other way around on my bike so i have .9 gal more fuel to burn!

thx, but i still think that less capacity will be a problem. i tried with a 1995 Honda VT 1100 C Shadow that has the same capacity but it only fits with my original stock seat and not the custom i had installed.

Seems like you're going to have a problem getting a thinner tank with the same capacity.

Thought about getting one custom built?

i did, but i dont know where i can find someone to do it. anyhow this way it would be much cheaper but it seems that i cant do it. do you know anyone that actually makes custom gas tanks by order? and if its possible to order via internet?
