Wiring Diagram

Are you sure it is a 750? My book shows only the VT700 for 1984. I can scan and email it to you as a .pdf

Many Thanks,
A.Gore

The Cylmer manual M313 has schematics for the 83 to 87 VT700/VT750 in the back of it.

The US model of the 84 shadow only came in 700cc, models outside the US (i.e. Canada) came with the 750, so unless you have a foreign model or your engine was swapped it should be a 700, check your cylinders down where they meet the crank case there should be a CC marking there, below 700 you have the 700, above 700 you have the 750.

I have a lot of experience with the 84 VT700 wiring, what is it that you are trying to fix?

beside his name, the location listed is Niagara Falls Ontario... so thats canada... so he has a 750...

If you still need the wiring diagrams, anyone with the 700 manual can send it to him, its the same wiring

Um, that wasn't against any forum rules was it?

The thought just popped into my head that it might not be allowed to share those here. Let me know.

Hey Landon, just want to wire in a toggle switch to replace the ignition switch on my 84 Shadow 700 VTC. I have one Red, One Black, One Brown /White and two Brown wires. Not too smart electrically speaking, Can you give it to me in Laymans Terms?
