after rebuilding the carbs on my 1986 vt700,the bike runs and starts better than it ever did since i have owned it. even cold it starts on the first rev.idles great and no backfire. my question is the spring that attaches to the carbs from the hand throttle, should it be loose or preloaded one turn.the manual does not mention this spring assembly.any help is appreciated. whiz630
