Coming your way!

I'm leaving Portland tomorrow heading to Yellowstone and the Tetons on a camping trip. First stop will be Spokane then on to Idaho etc. Any suggestions about route, camping or anything else I need to know?

Thanks

I live down in the Lewiston area and recommend hywy 12 to anyone headed to or from missoula, mt. Can't remember the name of the magazine, but was recently voted as one of the most favored routes in the NW. Just be sure to fuel near Kamiah as they tend to have gas shortages at the top of the pass on occasion.

Here's some roads & places I eat when I'm out west.

From Idaho take Rt 33 (Teton Pass ) to RT22 into Jackson Hole WY ,,,,once there stop at "The Cowboy Bar" at Deloney & Cache st. I recommend the ELK ..also try the " Bar J ranch" outside Jackson for some Cowboy cooking (chuck Wagon) and old wild west songs..

Once in Yellow Stone do Both small & Grand loops,,,then head to BEAR TOOTH PASS into Mt.

When you head to Utah go to Moab great riding there stop by the Moab Brewery ....if you can swing by Gateway CO. great riding..

Watch out !!!!! this time of year They DO get snow 3"-12" in the High Elevations of WY & MT

I have tons MORE intel about rides & food out there just PM me...

Thanks for the advice and pictures. It looks like beautiful country. Moab and Colorado will probably be another trip though. I'll keep you posted.

I'M BACK. Had a fantastic ride. Only can post 10 pics in the album. How does one get the map with the states to appear at the bottom of a profile?
