Why not just buy a Haynes manual and do it yourself? Keep the $100 hour labor rate for yourself.

dont give up man, search the forum (there is even a guys on here that offers a shop manuals to download) you'll be suprised by how much you can learn and if all else fails than call the shop but once you here how much per hour you'll go back out to the garage and try it again I have done that with my 83vt500.

I'm in Whittier also. The Whittier Fun Center on Whittier Blvd. is decent. Not the friendliest people on the face of the earth, but they know what they're doing. Also, Lebard and Underwood in La Habra on Imperial Hwy. I had some work done by them a number of years ago.

What's the nature of your problems? There's not much that I won't tackle. Maybe I could help?

Ron

just try to find a local independent shop if you don't feel confident in yourself to fix your bike. there are plenty of independent shops that don't charge $100/hr. our shop doesn't charge anywhere near that amount.

But you're in Kentucky. Lot's of luck finding a shop much under $100 per hour out here.
