I assume you are talking about WA.
I don't know where 162 is, but there will not be any snow in that area at all. Hyw 20 is a great MC road, that you will be crossing. Good going either East or West. |

I just went over Lassen on 89 3 weeks ago. Went through Quincy on the way to Truckee. I can only speculate that if Lassen was open so should 162 be, AS FAR AS SNOW GOES.
Looks like cal trans is working on it as they are on almost all the mountain roadways right now. Road Conditions The worst section for us was on 80 from Truckee to Yuba Pass. It was like a parking lot. Did the duck walk for miles! (3 weeks ago). The only place we seen any snow remotely close the the road shoulder was at the very top of Lassen. I checked online with Lassen and we will be riding and camping there soon. We like to ride 162 to Quincy then take the La Porte Rd back to Oroville. We rode Hwy 70 to Quincy last weekend and there's alot of road construction going on. Thanks to all for the response, guess it's a ride up 162 soon!
