Default Mountain Pass Open/Closures

Just thought this might be helpfull. Currently looks like all passes are open;

Of course they always say call, and if anyone feels the need to do that then here is the Phone number;
caltrans Highway Information Network (CHIN) 800.427.7623
I might head through Yosemite sometime before this weekend. The GD has never been and she has lived in Sac all her 20 years and I don't want her to be as old as I was before I finally made it to such a fantastic place.
I might just dedicate most of next year's rides to Yosemite.
Hmmm, better check into the free pass for Nam vets.

I am not saying you are old, but I do believe you qualify for the "old folks" pass for National Parks. Costs like $10. Last till you kick the bucket. Allows you and who ever is on the bike/other vehicle into the Park. Kind of cool. Got mine last spring. Just flash the card and in you go.

We do need to see Yosemite before we leave this part of the country. Looks like next spring trip.

Thanks for reminding me about that. I think you had mentioned it once before, but my Old Timers card comes up often now days.
