Default Mountain Pass Ride 6-11

I plan to ride over Hwy 108 and come back on Hwy 4 on the 11th.
Will leave Mel & Faye's Drive Inn, Jackson, CA at 8:30am.
Have lunch in Coleville at either Walker Burger or Mountain View Barbeque.
This will be a long ride so we will have to keep moving to get it all in in one day.

I think we should leave Jackson at 8:30 to give more time to stop and take pic's with all the snow. What do you think? To early?
How's that.

ROFLMAO, I guess you haven't followed my post's very closely. Yeah, that would be great, I can also meet you closer as I live in Roseville, not sure where you live, but I thought PJ mentioned close by. (been a few years I could have you mixed up with someone else).
This time of year I normally leave at the crack of dawn. I have a hard time with my vision at sunset, so I try to be home before then.

Hmmm...
Yes, I'm still alive. Haven't vanished quite yet.

Due to life's employment/unemployment 'adventures', I'm finally getting my head out of nether regions.
Got my younger daughter married off last weekend; I have an art show this coming weekend.
Bike reg and insurance finally paid up...but my poor, poor stock seats have seen much better days...gaffers tape is my friend!!!

I'm likin' that route.
I've got a bucket of gorgeous pics from a couple reservoirs (Utica and Spicer) down in the valley off the 4, about 5 miles south (?) of Bear Valley and have been hankerin' to get back up there with my big camera.

It'd be a long ride for me, since I ain't been out on the scoot much and I'm outa scoot-riding shape. (Clutch hand, assssssss, y'allz know... )
If I can arrange my funky 'schedule', I may just hook up with you boys.

And ol' South West Zone Dusty: we WILL get hooked up and ride the hills down there.
Just not sure quite when.

Well I 'll be cornswoggeld! Look what the cat drug home ma!
You have an art show? Are your pictures on display? I wanna see.
I have an old goldwing saddle you can have.
I hope you's drag me off to the coast with ya's, for some reason, I just can't get my self headed in that direction.
At any rate, I am sure glad ya haven't packed up and moved up north. Seems like that's where the action is lately.

This cat's just wandering the neighborhood, lookin' fer trouble...
And I found it; yes, I'll drag yer butt to the coast.
Can't leave BBug all off to hisself and all.

Yes, some of my better pics will be on display:
ArtFiesta, Jun 5-6, Town and Country Village. (Fulton and Marconi, off biz 80)
I'll be parked in front of the ol' Blockbuster, facing Marconi.
Kinda wierd/amazing what a bunch of 'off time' will do to the squirrel cage in yer head, eh?
Maybe this will be a hobby turned biz; I'm rollin' the dice.
Even got a website (still under construction, but...): www.pjimages.com

YOU know the wing saddle won't work. Damn teaser!
Maybe I'll find a used Aero 1100 seat around here...maybe not...gaffers tape DOES work!
Just gonna depend on how the fair goes; fingers crossed for a good haul and future biz.

North is where there's still odd weather happening. That's their action.
I'm fine where I be.
For now...

Good to see your still around I was starting to wonder.
Let’s do this 123
I don't see any picture yet. You know you’re going to have to post so of the pic now that you've brought them up
With the scooter all reg and insured you have to get out of some play time.
Now you sound like me. You know you have to get out there but when.
It is looking like I will be going to Santa Rosa on Sundays for a while. so I might have ride up there some.
ashadowrider and rrounds have been posting so great pic's and maps.
