Center Seat Bolt Size?? - Honda Shadow Forums : Shadow Motorcycle Forum

So I have a 2002 Honda Ace and when I bought it the owner had the Corbin seat on it- However when I want to take a passenger for a ride I wanted to be able to switch back to the stock seat for the driver and the passenger. I have the rear bolt but not the center bolt that fastens the rear of the front seat and the front of the rear seat down... does anyone know the size bolt i need to get? I have gone several places trying to find one that will fit and so far am having ZERO luck.

I think thats an 8mm bolt I MIGHT have one in the tray if you want it. Or theres a chance I'll be riding south on Saturday.

Yup Yup, it was an 8mm thanks I appreciate it. I got a hold of the guy I bought my bike from and he had it and a few others I needed so I got them from him- Thanks again tho- That thing was a pain in my arse! well... more specifically my girlfriends arse lol she is the one that had to tough out riding on the other seat until I copuld switch them out. lol

Are you talking about that tiny thing in your sig picture? If she rides on that, you better not let her get away.

LOL yeah she rode it, and didnt even mind it as much after I added the sissy bar. But I still switched it out. Nope, I wont let this one get away haha. She loves riding we took a trip to Yosemite this past weekend which is the longest ride we have gone on so far and even without a windshield and having the wind beat us to death, she still enjoyed it. She is a trooper haha
