Hello all, just bought a 08 Honda Shadow Spirit VT750C2 with 600 miles a couple of weeks ago. Never had a street bike and now that I'm in my middle age..

, thought it was time to get one. I've put only a couple of hundred miles on it, and have enjoyed it alot! Beautiful day in Ohio for a ride, went down to Old Man's Cave down by Logan! Taking it easy and very cautious. Looking forward to meeting Shadow folks here, seems to be a wonderful forum.

Next weekend, got to change the oil to be sure it was changed it's first time and do a valve adjustment. Got a Honda Service Manual, so that should help!

One question, how long does a set of tires on average last? I have Dunlops on mine, seem to be the factory ones. Thanks.

Post some pics before the natives get restless.

Depending on the tires and how you ride, 3000-15,000 miles plus on a cruiser.

Greets! I'm also in Columbus, in the Westerville area. Bike's in the shop following customization by inattentive driver, or I'd have been down there near Old Man's Cave too!!

Welcome, and look for a ride coming up. There are a good 5-6 on the forum within an hour of Columbus.

**** yeah sprinter thats a nice ride - now you need to mod it and make it your own !!! lol ride it like ya stole it !!!!
