Default 46 degrees and no other bikes today

Hit 46 degrees F today in Columbus so I ran 20 miles up the Scioto river and back, and did not see another bike on the whole trip. I am beginning to suspect 50 degrees is the magic cut off point for Sunday cruisers. A few weeks back when it hit 52 degrees I passed maybe two dozen bikes on the exact same Sunday afternoon route. Cheers.

I ride sub 40 degrees here in NF and see 1 or 2 bikes every now and then. It's quite a camaraderie to see a fellow biker out on those temperatures. Unfortunately, it hasn't been that warm lately.

I ve been looking for my magic number, We have had a few upper 40's here in Rochester. I'm new to riding but love it so as long as there is no snow or ice to deal with I plan on riding as much as possible. Beside the Phantom is getting about 56 MPG and the Ford get about 20. And with gas hanging at $4.05 a gal for the cheap stuff Im gonna ride.

Me and friend were out for 3 hr trip around the country roads on Monday my day off.
It was not very hot but great riding weather.
I think it is not so much the temp but the chance of rain at that temp that keeps me in my truck when going to and from work.

I'm good to go above 32 provided it hasn't snowed recently and there's loads of salt truck **** all over the road.

Temps don't bother me, it's when the white stuff starts flying that I leave it in the garage. But once it stops and the road dries up, all bets are off..
