Hi Jimbo, No takers. Got involved in a sticky problem and spent the day trying to fix it. (Not the bike.)
I'm impulsive. I'll hit the road in the blink of an eye if the weather will allow it. This time of year, it's a last minute thing, 'cause you never know what tomorrow will be like. I set the bottom limit at about 38 degrees. Even then, at 38, I'll take a slow ride thru the park.
They dumped a lot of salt last night. It will be a while before that stuff washes off and I'll be willing to go again.
Rock'

Like Waytooloud said, Bad, Salt, Bad! I don't mind cold as long as the salt is washed away. Every time the roads improve (dry and sunny), it's back to the snow! This is the first winter in a while that I haven't hardly ridden.
So, the 83 needs new bowl gaskets and synced. My rider's seat is going nowhere fast. The Sabre needs the jets cleaned up. And I can't get to any of it.
Hey, I was up to Findlay Oh. a few weeks ago and passed a little town called Lodi. Ever heard of it?

See ya in the Spring!

Well, it was only supposed to be 36 today, but it reached 42.....so, I reached for my helmet and I reached for my coat and I'm out the door!!!! I got a good hour or so on the road. I love my new battery tender! Hit the button and it starts like it's summer! (Of course it wasn't very cold, but it's still nice to start so easily. LOL) Maybe get a repeat performance tomorrow!
I passed the County Police station and a Officer watched me roll past. Saw him on the return trip, out on his duty bike. I think he liked the idea. Gave me a nod and a grin as he past by.

Hey Jimbo, You got that right! I'm looking for a good summer, not like last year! Even my wife remarked that I didn't make any long trips last year. Gotta fix that! maybe the weather will break early!
