Default quiet season for all us western pa riders......

Haven't heard or seen much of us this season. I'm also included in that lot. Been riding a lot but just about all for commuting, working and just hoping around. Got to no bike nights this year.....hadn't even thought of it actually....didn't even go on any organized rides or poker runs.

What up with the rest of you guys and gals?

I have not ridden much this year, between work and kids my schedule is packed. The wife and I did get out last night for a few hours. We rode 90 miles, out to Alliance and back. Great ride, nice weather, and a lot of bikes out.

Hey guys, where are you located in western pa? Im from Oil City. Once I get comfortable on my bike I hope to get a small group from here (cleveland) to ride up through Tionesta. I think that ride on the bike would be fun!

I haven't been riding much lately....mostly due to a bad combination of weather, work, and a never-ending chest cold that's caused me to be a bit reluctant about getting chilled until it goes away.

Still, I've taken some joy rides and done some commuting on the better days, enjoying it when and while I can.

Tionesta. I rode through there a couple of times this year...never stopped, though...always on my way somewhere else. I enjoy the woodland ride from there to Warren, though. Gotta keep a watch out for deer, of course.

I should make Tionesta a destination some day. When I was but a wee lad, I spent many weekends in the area staying at my Uncle's hunting cabin, and in my teens, at my Grandfather's cabin. When I attended college in Clarion, I would visit the area often and even spent a summer living in the cabin while commuting to classes. I haven't really stayed to visit since. I always liked it there.
