Dude have fun and please be careful! The holidays bring out the idiots, or rather it seems that the idiots stop even attempting to drive right during them.

Watch out for people trying to get to Gramma's way too fast!

As a matter of fact I have made a ride from the DFW area to do the 3 Sisters on Thanksgiving Day weekend. It was back in 09 and I wrote it up on the Cowtown site
http://www.meetup.com/motorcycle-23/messages/boards/thread/8149773

I like the 3 Sisters

But, please, do take care

Three sisters is a great ride. Finally did it last weekend. Be on the look out for motophoto they take pics while you ride. As everyone else said, watch for deer.

Yo, Patrick...were you two able to make the ride during the holiday weekend? Just curious if it was crowded or if the cooler temps kept the crowds to a minimum.

We didn't make it. I came down with a touch of the flu but the weather ,with the cold high winds and rain, would have made the trip pretty miserable.

I kinda wondered about the weather, we had pretty high winds on that Saturday, registered gusts @ 63 mph in Lovington which is about 10 miles from our home. Only slight sprinkles for us, but wasn't sure how far south those conditions carried.
