Default The texas tour is coming.

The carb's are sync'd, the new rear tire is mounted and the oil is changed.
Come Friday morning, I will be on my way to meet up with some of the best motorcycle roads that Texas has to offer. Been reading about the the Twisted sisters, the motorcycle musem in Vanderpool, the food in Leakey, road to Presidio and the Guadalupes. This will be the trip of the year, well maybe for the spring. Man I am pumped.

You'll enjoy it! I made a run to Austin this weekend on the Vulcan and had a blast. We went down to tour a culinary school that my daughter will be attending this summer and checked out the local housing market. I wanted to take a different route home than what I went, but since my wife and daughter were in the car and the weather was a major factor, we ran together most of the way home. I was able to dodge the majority of the rain storms, but got it good between Lamesa and Seminole. At least I missed the hail. Anyway, James, keep me posted on what your scheduling might be for Sunday. I still intend on meeting up over south of Carlsbad, White's City or down in Salt Flats--somewhere over there.

It is right about now I would be heading toward Presidio, but instead I am still at home feeling like a crap. Oh well, there is always this fall.
Hope I can hold down the crackers and water this time, I hate feeling puny.
