Default Laconia NH. Bike Week

Just trying to see who is going to be at bike week and where there staying. Maybe we can get together for a ride. I am in Bristol NH. at Davidsons camp ground, which is 13 miles from Weirs. Anyone else going to be the area? Lets get some locations and see just how many will be around this year.

I am hoping to do a day trip if my buddy gets his bike square. He told me today he hoped to have his carb issues worked out before this weekend. I am HOPING to be there saturday for the day, but that is still a bit up in the air. He has a camp-site up there within 30 min of Weirs...

If things look like they are going to happen for me, I will post back here ASAP.

The number of people is the down side to this event, it is way crowded and the ride around the lake to exit is annoying and often littered with over-heated harleys.

I have to admit the vendors are there to make deals though. I bought a beautiful riding jacket for $100 in 04 and its only now showing the slightest signs of wear. The down side is Ive lost a lot of weight in the last year and its a bit big if I dont wear a few layers under it... I want a new one and that seems like the best place to get a great deal on a quality jacket. The atmosphere isnt quite like it used to be, so I am told by some veterans who have been going 20+ years. Thats really the reason I would go as a day trip. I don't need the drama but in small doses.
