While riding along route 202 south last Saturday, we were detoured by a roadblock. The detour went along a dark and bumpy dirt road and wasn't the most ideal road for cruising. After 10-15 minutes, traffic was returned to route 202.
I didn't really give it a second thought, until reading the local paper later and finding out that a female motorcyclist was killed that same day on that same road. Gulp! I don't know any of the details and my sympathies and prayers go to her family. Motorcycle accidents are always a tragedy, but lately there seems to be a rash of them throughout Massachusetts, and I am sure, elsewhere. Every accident has its own set of circumstances, we can learn from all of them. Enjoy the summer, ride safe. |
