Default Twisty Twitchies gettin real bad...

Went for a ride this evening, just as it got dark. It was actually above 50 degrees, but just barely... I was getting the twisty twitchies real bad... My wife was laughing because of my motorcycle addiction.

I know what you mean. I have not rode since Sunday, the highway does not dry out in the Humbug Mountain canyon this time of year and when it's mid 30's in Port Orford you can count on the road being icy at Humbug. I work at the park there.

But there will be days I can ride this winter, but not this week-end according to the weather man.

I've been getting on mine - every time it's not raining. Short trips (40 miles or so) or until my hands get too cold - which ever comes first. Plan on doing it all winter if I can. Might get a bit of snow this sunday (12/14).

I have not ridden mine since before Halloween, there was one nice weekend where I had enough time to take the whole front end off just to re-grease the steering bearings, then two more weeks before I had nice enough weather to put it all back together. I would like to take it on a test ride around town just to make sure everything is working right but every time it is a nice day I am too busy. Now I'm getting ready to move, maybe my test ride will be riding it to my new place (when ever that is).
