HI welcome,
In N. Chuck, this website has kept me from hunting down the P.O. Kicking the bike, door, wall, or hurting my wallet, anymore than it has. Almost legal Jack

Gotta resurrect an old thread, I'm in the Upstate area as well. Live in Inman, but I'm closer to Lyman/Wellford area near 29. Cool to see a few locals on the board!
Where is a good cheap place to have some tires mounted? Cheapest place I've found so far was Foothill Motorsports in Easley, they'll do them for $35 each. I'm sure there is a local shop somewhere near by that will do them for less, I just don't know where they are.... Last edited by joker5060; 02-22-2012 at 05:55 PM. |

Haven't gone in in a few but it was an owner/operator shop that always did what he could to help which was nice since at the time I was riding my rare almost non existing parts anymore for it 83 Honda Ascot VT500FT. 121 Rutherford Road Greenville SC 29609 +1 (864) 233-4497 Don't know of prices for any of em right off hand but for those looking around the Greenville,SC area there's the info on a few.

Ended up going by Cycle Specialties to get my tires put on. Anyone else had work done there? Nice people, but seemed disorganized and was hard to get ahold of anyone. Was quoted $35 per tire for install, but when I went to pick the bike up I was charged $45 since I didn't buy the tires through them. They never mentioned that being a possibility, but I guess I should have asked.
Weren't very good with communication either. The 2 or 3 times I went into the service department/desk area, I stood there for 5-10 minutes before anyone showed up. The couple of times I called, it took forever for someone in service to pick up the phone as well. Just wondering if I caught them at a busy/bad time or if their always like that. Don't know that I would recommend them. |
