Default taylors greer greenville cruise to brevard

Well, I thought I had my whole summer planned out, until I lost my job and now starting a new one next week. That 3week vacation I had planned on getting a group of friends to go cross country will have to be canceled, or severely postponed.

Any of you locals interested in doing a quick little ride up through ceasar's head into brevard, maybe having late lunch/early dinner and riding back? I'd be nice to ride with someone else as most of my friends are not riders, and it'd be nice to meet some other local guys with similar bikes.

Post right on here if anyone's interested this week, or anytime really, with a ride that short it shouldn't take much planning.

I'm with Forrest on distance, roughly 100 miles give or take from here. Just curious but why Brevard? I've ridden that way too many times to count but usually either turn around at Ceasers head state park or right over the NC border.

just a random place that's easy to do in a short time so there's not much planning involved. I'm def up for anything else. Ya I usually turn around about halfway down towards brevard too right around that boarder sign

Great twisties going up through Brevard by all the Camps then a Twistie ride down through Caesars Head also. There is another route on the Map that I found but havent ridden it yet that Bypasses going down 276.

What roads/routes are y'all looking at? Just looking at a map I can make a few different "loops" to get up and back but not sure of mileage on any. I usually go 25 up to 11 back over to 276 and take it up or just straight up 276, depending how I'm feeling and if I wanna make the 25, 11,276 into a loop to come back and not head up the mountain. Of all routes none have been loops that far. When I go up that way it's 276 both ways so no loop at all, same road up and back down.

I take 11 all the way down to 178 then up to Rossman/Brevard on 64 then take 276 back down Caesars Head back to 11 then back Home. The Road I Found is called Reasonover Rd and it then turns into Green River Road and it will take you back to Hwy 25 on Bobs Creek Road at exit 1 but I didnt have the GPS so I didnt go that way last time.Got to be alot more Mileage than the Normal 116 mile Loop but there are gas stations everywhere before getting to Reasonover rd.

I see right off the loop, gotta look a little more for the new roads. All in all, guess we gotta see when we all might be able to ride out. Your off call on Monday, owen starts his new job and I'm off spring break and still working. "Attend Greenville Tech" Guess we'll see what Owen has for days off then see if any of ours can match and go from there.
