Not sure how many of you will brave the cold, but does anyone want to meet up somewhere on the 10th? I have no real plans that day, and don't really care where I end up.

Once I get my chain replaced, I might feel a tad more confident on long-distance runs around here

Sounds good man. Look forward to meeting you one of these days.

Running up to Bryson City this weekend (High 60's and Low 70's Saturday) to do some hiking and staying in a nice B&B with the wife. If anyone is up that way Saturday/Early Sunday let me know and we could atleast meet up for lunch or something.

Still have the 10th open, not sure if anyone wants to do anything.

Got my permit today so now I just need to learn how to ride Hopefully take the MSC in the spring. Got a quick lesson in this evening before it got too dark. Need to get a heat shield for the exhaust by my thigh, gets a bit warm there!

I took my class on a weekend where it was 98F. I wished I had done it in cooler weather. That blacktop was brutal those days.

About to head out to Bryson City for the weekend. Anybody up for a meetup on the 10th somewhere?

Welcome Lady from Columbus GA. Took my class in the winter when it was windy and rained the entire weekend. Personally I think it was God having some fun with me. Cause everyone from around here knows it only rains 5 minutes at a time. Welcome to the jungle!

I didn't take the MSC, I just taught myself. Granted, there are days I wish I was taught a few more tricks earlier than having to learn them on my own. I would take the course soon before it gets too cold . Warm-winter is prime time in my opinion.

Riding up to Amicolala Falls and River on Saturday morning if anyone is interested. Going to run up Burnt Mountain out that way.
