I hear you. Cooperation from mother nature is always great. I leave out for work at around 6:15, and the past week, let me tell you... it has been pretty cold, lol. But I'd take the wind and cold on my bike over the warmth and comfort i could get if i took my wife's car.

I usually take the car to PT in the mornings, but here I don't have that option...and I leave for PT at 0525 here due to the road outside the hotel being closed from 0530 to 0700 for PT.

Default Montgomery!

Hey, I see where there are at least TWO Montgomery riders! Would either or both of you be interested in running up to Birmingham soon? I just moved here (temp deployment support) and want to run to Barbers museum. Shouldn't take but about 90-minutes or so each way. Maybe one of you already knows how to get there? I'm game for just about any ride.

I have an early morning committment to drop my granddaughter off at the Gunter Base day care at 0700, and have to pick her back up (cager) by 1700. The hours in between are free. Let me know!

Just bought my shadow here in Birmingham. Haven't had a good weekend to open up the throttle. A little nervous to go long distance before I make sure everything checks out. Since football season is over looking to hit the Natchez Trace sometime.

Default Roll call... Alabama

The wife and I are planning trip to Natchez using the Trace from Jackson down during Spring break. If you hit it before then, let me know your thoughts.

Send me a PM when you want to go and I will try to connect with you. I rode the VT1100 from Louisville, KY to Montgomery several times, and I always had alittle trepidation about riding alone.
