After seeing Crazy Daves request for covered bridges, I got the idea to take a ride to the Pisgah Covered Bridge just south of Ashboro NC with my wife. Supposed to be around 70 degrees this coming weekend! I'll take that in January any day!

I live in Burlington, NC and have always thought a covered bridge destination ride would be a great idea. There are several in NC.

Recently there was an article which lists all the covered bridges in GA, I`ll be danged if I can find where I put it fer later use... (rollseyes!)

My riding buddies were there last Sunday, as I was ABATEing in Ashburn................................
That`s the idea behind this thread, finding out where we ride, and meeting members...
Yeah, where ever you`re located ~ we get into your neck o` the woods and you know the good roads...

Awe some. I was in Jackson last weekend. Planning on riding the ridge this saturday if weather holds out. Anyone is free to come on out.. Right now they are projecting a high of 78 degrees that day.. lol.. unreal.
