When I'm riding solo it isn't an issue. But two up it definitly "tells" me it's time to downshift with it's "stuttering speech syndrone". Weird high geared tranny ratio's on this model of Shadow. 85mph in 3rd gear? Definitly get's you off "I" ramp's quickly.
