I am presently living in OH, across the river from Parkersburg. I was raised in Princeton and plan to do a bunch of riding in WV this summer. Including a trip to visit the son and daughter-in-law in Princeton at least once. Backroads though, no turnpike unless I have to.

I live near Lewisburg WV, voted coolest small town for 2011, and I can't go in any direction from my home that doesn't give me great riding. That includes this area of VA as well as WV. It's an abundance of two lane blacktop with rolling hills and sweeping turns. You can make it as leisurely or as challenging as you want just by adjusting your speed accordingly. Come see for yourself.

I've ridden my Yamaha four wheeler all over WV. Great place for a vacation. I have been planning on going back on the Phantom someday.
