Freeway-Jumping Motorcyclist Injured In Latest Stunt Attempt

Quote:
Remember Kyle Katsandris? Of course you do; heís the guy who jumped his Kawasaki KX450 over the 60 freeway in Los Angeles not too long ago, causing a buzz all over social media and the internet as a whole (and also sparked an investigation by the California Highway Patrol). Well, it appears that his internet fame has caught up with him, as his latest stunt didnít go so well.

According to reports, Katsandrisí latest trick was to jump over train tracks in Simi Valley, California, following the footsteps of Colin Morrison, who successfully completed the jump three times a decade ago, twice over a moving train. Except in Katsandrisí attempt, a bump at the lip of the jumped launched him over the handlebars, where he then crashed on the other side. Heís currently in critical but stable condition.

Darwinism at work...
by the way, what do they say in California before doing something like this?
In Alabama it's usually "hold my beer and watch this!

I dunno. Evel Knievel pretty-much did this kinda-stuff for a living. Can't be much riskier than deep sea diving, blasting off into outer space, breaking land speed records in jet powered cars, or break-dancing to a Metallica tune!!

This kid wouldn't have even been the first to attempt the stunt he tried to pull off.

Some say that riding a bike - in itself - is a bit mad. And that suits me just fine! ... HAHAHAHAHA! ..

I'm sure from his perspective, we're a bunch of boring old riders on slow cruisers... I'd bet his riding skill level is significantly greater than most of us here.
