Hello all
I recently purchased an 84 Honda Shadow 500 as my very first bike, and am in the process of fixing it up and getting ready to ride. It has about 44000 km on it, and is in great shape, for the most part. I am already in love with it, and I haven't even ridden it yet. The previous owner said I'd need to get the CDI module replaced, as it was causing the bike to backfire and run poorly. However, he probably should have checked the air filter first - it was plugged tighter than a drum; it looked like something had built a nest in there over winter! This does not bode well for whatever new surprises I might find |
