Default 2011 Phantom Solo Seat

Any ideas for replacing the stock seat with a solo seat? One that is more comfortable than the stock one? Thx.

i have the Mustang Wide touring seat. It is 2-piece so you can remove the rear pillion and it's a solo seat. I have gotten pretty good at removing the rear pillion without removing the driver seat so I can take it off when my wife isn't planning on riding with me. I haven't found a good way to cover the hole for the rear pillion when it's not on though...

Oh, and the mustang wide touring seat is extremely comfy, but it sits you up about 2-3" higher than the stock seat.

That's really a great looking seat Steve, but you just can't beat a springer eh. If anyone is looking for a solo seat custom designed to mount on the Phantom this is the perfect choice, better grab it while it's still available.

my question is how comfortable is the "custom" seat compared to the stock about the same?

Hah well yea i get that part i was asking about the one your trying to get rid of, i bought the only phantom the dealer had so i don't know how the honda "custom" seat for the phantom feels all i know is the stock seat kills me after an hour and my friends stryker seat is like a lazy boy in comparison.

I received the Mustang Wide Touring seat today in the mail. I put it on and had my first ride on it. Too short to know if it feels better, but I'm sure it will on the long rides. I definitely don't slide around on it as much as I did on the stock.

Also, I love that it's so easy to change it back and forth from solo to duo...

When the weather improves I will take pics - now I need to decide whether to install the sissy bar and luggage rack or leave them off until I need them for a trip.
