20 years ago I had the 750 version of that Yamaha for a very short time. I needed the carbs done and made the mistake of allowing a friend of mine who claimed he knew how to do it do my carbs. A mile down a 6 lane road flames came up between my legs and I dropped the bike. It was fixable but I thought it was a bad omen and got rid of the bike.

Ouch sorry to hear that. Mine treated me well for 6 years and 20000kms. Would have been more kms if i didnt live in Saskatchewan where winter is 7 months haha. I'll gladly put up some pics once I get them hosted on a website.. Wish I could simply upload from my iPod..
