Essentially, I only have one item in my "bucket list" and that's to get back into motorcycles for my retirement years. I'm coming to the forums to learn as much as possible before I buy.
So far, my choices seem to be Honda Shadow 750, Kawasaki Vulcan 500 and Suzuki Intruder/S50. I've been trying to download some of the gallery pictures, but I'm having trouble. So, I decided to see if being registered will help the downloading. Thanks |

Unfortunately, I can't see the pictures here either.
Where the picture should be, it says: This image has been resized. Click this bar to view the full image When I click it, it says: Click this bar to view the small image. Looks like no Shadow pictures for me. |

Sounds like you have something blocking images. Do you have this problem outside the forum as well?

The Shaow line is a GREAT place to start. Wife has a Spirit 750 and she loves it! It is nice and easy to handle. Hers and some other Shadows are chain drive so you can change sprockets if needed to get a little different gearing.
Good Luck! Coop

Something about this site does not like me and my computer. As far as the Gallery goes, the pictures try to load and always stops at 47,689 bytes. ----- Does one need a premium membership to download pictures? |

Welcome, and good luck picking a ride you will enjoy! There MAY be something about your web browser that does not agree with this web site. There is no need for premium membership...heck, you do not have to be a member at all to view pix.
Any chance you can try a different web browser? Jim

However, because of this problem downloading images, I tried using FireFox and Internet Explorer All three browsers give the same results. So, I copied the url of several different gallery images and tried downloading using Download Express with all browsers closed. The files load until they get to 47689 bytes and then gets a message "Unable to load file:"filename"" I've gone to several other forums and I am able to download images with no problem. I use Download Express all the time and it works great with all types of files. I downloaded a 183 Megabyte file just last night. But for some reason something on this forum terminates downloads for large pictures such as the images in the gallery. It appears as though there is a size limit set for image downloads. |
