I had a decent ride in this morning. Let me tell ya that 38 degrees is tremendously warmer than 28. I know it's only ten degrees, but my hands can tell the difference. I ride about twenty miles on farmland back roads and a few cheesy highways to get to work, and ride whenever it's not icy. I use a thin Leather glove under a First Gear All Weather type glove. I really wish I had the cash to upgrade to heated handles or heated gloves, but the double glove system works for me.
Do many of you ride nearly year round? How do you deal with sub freeze temps? Oh, and that's my third post. I get it, we want to keep spammers out, but this feels like kindergarten, what with the getting approved or posting. |
