Default Hey there, I'm buglite

Yes the yellow bulb. I don't have a Shadow yet but plan to soon. Been riding a BMS TBX260efi scooter. It's a chinese Burgman clone with a smaller engine. I'm finding myself with it on the highway far too often and I need a bigger bike.

The scooter is actually great though. Much bigger and more motorcyclelike than what you think of as a scooter. Storage space is awesome. On regular streets or state roads it's very fast. Even the highway it will go 85mph. The only thing is the sidewinds do try to knock it around a lot over 65. The acceleration over 70 is pretty slow too. Then of course the 13 inch wheels don't inspire much confidence at those kind of speeds.

I ride every single day about 50-60 miles most of which are on a state road around 60mph. I love riding and yes I'm getting the bug to want to go further, faster and more often. I think I just came up with my biker creedo. Not faster like sportbike faster though. I'd like to live to ride a long time. I plan on posting questions about purchasing a shadow and what used models to look for.

Welcome, buglite.

Although I must say I prefer 'budlight'.

That's a nice lookin' scooter. I'd ride it in a second. I wouldn't give up the Shadow but wouldn't mind having that puppy around. Must be great on mileage. That's gonna be REAL important real soon. (Not that it ain't already.) I can already see the BMS TBX260efi Scooter Forum.

Whatever you ride -- ride safe!

Although I may compromise abit by riding a scooter I never compromise on my beer. I'm just kidding love my scooter but its true can't drink anything with either bud or lite in the name. I generally like European beer and more particularly british ales. You know how they say the english drink their beer warm cause jaguar make their refidgerators? Well #1 english beer doesn't have to be cold to hide the taste. #2 I sold my old jaguar xjs v12 to by my scooter. With the money I save getting 70 mpgs I don't have to drink bud lite.

Thanks for the responses. Just joshin ya about the beer but I do have to say friends don't let friends drink that crap lol.
