Default 3rd post, some pics

well more like one pic, kind of embarrassed of it at the moment. lol. I bought the bike for transportation from work and also I've went back to school. This is what it looked like when I first started, I have barley been able to ride it except for the past couple of days due to the Hack who put it together. First nothing seems to be bolted down, the gas tank rattled all the way home. The battery was just dangling and the only thing holding it up was the coolant bottle hose, the welds on this bike were ridiculous, my 5 year old son can weld better. The fake oil tank fell off due to the fact the only thing holding it on was bondo. But I've had the bike for about a month now, made a new battery box, fixed the exhaust, new front tire, fixed all the welds, made the oil tank detachable and mounted properly, new seat springs, cut the fender and welded some chain together as struts...the list of repairs can go on. But when I get it a little better Ill take some pics and show. The bike has turned more into a project than I wanted it to be, I just finished a full restore on a 1970 Honda Trail70 KO and wasn't looking for this much work, but I cant help it, welding, cutting, fixing is just to damn fun.

If you actually zoom in where the sissy bar meets the frame you can see how bad the welds Ive been dealing with are, it looks as though the guy figured if he built up enough crap weld it might hold.

Here is a picture of the KO I restored, I know it doesn't have a place here on this forum, but it is a Honda, and if you know what they are you can appreciate it.
