Small bell on frame of Bike

I have another I got as a gift. I'm running both.
Never had any issues with this bike. Never laid it down
Nothing in 20k miles. 10 of it in 5 months.
90% of it on crowded CA freeways at 75-85 MPH average.
rain, wind, no matter. I've laid down several bikes (been riding 40yrs)
and not one of those bikes had a bell.

Superstition or not.........the bells stay.

Superstition is one thing, tempting fate is another....I ain't taking it off.
Besides they look cool right where they are.

Maybe. Maybe not. As I was looking at my 1986 Honda Rebel to find a spot to install the bell I got for Christmas, I noticed a missing nut from the rear brake stay. Talk about an "oh sh!t" moment. I chalk that one up to the bell.

When I sold that bike, I left it on it. I didn't tell the new owner about it, until a few weeks later when he asked me about it.

Of course, now I'm bell-less.

I have one that the guy who got me into riding bought me. I'm not buying into the superstition thing, but I do like hearing it when the wind gusts. Makes me smile. But then again, I really like the sound of windchimes and the guy who gave it to me.
