No, it's spring time and bike prices always go up when demand peaks this time every year. I see many sellers trying to get waaayyy too much for their scooters right now. Looking at the classified ads on this forum is proof that some of these sellers are nuts.

If you're buying, shop around. The econmy is still in the crapper, and there are deals to be had. If you're a seller, get real. Just because you paid too much for your ride or have a sentimental attachment to it, doesn't mean it's worth extra to any one else.

Prices in florida all the same, haven't spot any difference for a year long.

So just monitor CL - and you can get a good experience pricewise! Also it's easy to see how long it takes some ppl to sell their rides. So you have more beef to drop price a bit =)

Believe it or not in some areas of this country you can buy a decent house for less than a motorcycle.

As gat803 said spring/summer is the worst time for motorcycle prices -- unless you're the seller. Most prices are way outta the ballpark right now. That's why I bought my current cycle in the middle of a winter snowstorm.

But there are definitely deals. Just fewer and farther in-between. Be prepared to walk away from outrageous prices -- or not.

Just a guess here. Resale value for some bikes, like Harley Davidson's, can be higher because they are more sought after by certain groups of people. If Honda's resale value is up, maybe they are finally getting the respect they deserve.
