But, if you do get "crash" bars. Try not to use them on the "Highway".
I'm pretty sure they are one in the same. Ride Safe! David.

there is a difference .... crash bars will hold up a horzontal bike and protect the engine and your leg. highway bars silply mount on the side and ar for putting your feet on , lets just say crash bars are more part of the frame and are solid. you can see a difference in the mountings

Engine guards covers it all. Highway pegs support your feet. Engine guards/crashbars/highway bars are all the same thing, Engine guards is the way to look them up...I think it is the formal name. Cobra bars are nice and decent price. That is what we both have and they are good!
I have highway pegs on my engine guards, best money next to a Mustang seat you can spend on a bike! Coop
