Default Washing the bike

I realize this sounds stupid, but I've always been told "there's no stupid questions" ... just want to make absolutely sure before I do this... I'm about to wash my bike. Want to give it an all over rinsing first.. it's fine to spray it all over with a garden hose, correct? I know I sound like an idiot asking this, as I'm pretty sure this is perfectly fine.. but better to ask and make sure.

There are lots of hard to reach places that need to be rinsed off and I think using a hose would help with that. Thanks.

I wouldn't recommend using a pressure washer.

Thanks for the link, Fat Kid. I am sure a leaf blower will speed up drying and help get those hard to reach places dry.

Leaf blower?

I usually just ride to get the bike dry!

Why?
If you don't try to wash paint off it should work just fine...

I like washing mine at a self-service place down the road from my house. Costs me about $7 in quarters.

They even have this new fan blower gun so I barely have to hand dry the bike. Gets the water out from all those crevices.
