Default Newbie here

Hi All,
I too am very new to forums and to the world of motorcycles. A very good friend has opened my eyes to the cycle world and to Shadows in perticular and is teaching me to ride. I'm already signed up for a 3-day beginners course and am very excited about riding safely while enjoying the ride. I hope to be able to learn many helpful hints from you who are more experienced than I and to enjoy my time here at the forum as well. Take care and enjoy the season!

Hi RobinsRide - this is the first place I look for information on my shadow - so far I have learned about adding seafoam to the gas as a cheap method of cleaning carbs, helmet pros and cons, how not to drop a bike....and the type and quantity of "beverages" that are required to complete certain maintenance tasks.

You will find everyone more than willing to help with your issues as long as you provide enough details, ride safely and post a pic of your new bike when you have a chance.

Couple of tips? learn about counter-steering and point your head to look where you want to turn and you're body will automatically put you there with your turn!

the 2nd one sounds stupid but it really helped me!!!
