Does anyone have any suggestions on rider to passenger communications? Chatter Box and all those types are expensive to buy. Has anyone used walkie talkies with the headsets? I enjoy the peace and quiet but at times you need to communicate with my GF. Any suggestions will be helpful.

Yeah, people have done it with inexpensive setups based on walkie-talkies / FRS handhelds. There's at least one old thread here somewhere. I *think* Pastor Ron A started one. I'll edit in some links if I find anything in the next few minutes.
On edit: Pastor Ron A's thread was a negative review of Nady MRC-11X and a mediocre rating of the Nady PMC-3x. More: Mined an old thread and found And even more: Here's what I was seeking -- a report from member Christopher on his own page. It's listed in this thread.

What really needs to be said other than "wow, look at that" or I gotta pee in which case flicking the fingers on the hand like to get excess water off or a finger pointing to whatever would work in those cases.

WWW.sharkmotorcycleaudio.com They have a wirid rider to passenger intercom for $22.99 plus shipping. they also have wireless models that can also be used between bikes.
Most reviews by members on here on their radios have been good.

Missed my signature apparently. I AM female and I ride alone but even if I rode with a guy, I would prefer the peace and quiet around us than a bunch of chattering that could be done at home. Nuf said.

This is a cheap bluetooth helmet which allows for helmet to helmet intercom:
Hawk H-6611 Flat Black Dual-Visor Modular Motorcycle Helmet with Blinc Bluetooth It's $189 and I have used it as a bluetooth handsfree and it does a good job for the price. At least until you can save up money to get a better system.
