Unhappy Rain Stinks

I want to ride really bad. I have not been able to ride since Monday this week. Unfortunately, it has been rainy over the past few days so I am beginning to get bike withdraw. This sucks.

Perhaps it's time to relocate to a sunnier climate. Here in Arizona, there are no such thing as "rainy days." We might get a little bit of drizzle, but nothing bad enough to warrant a "no-ride" day!

Raining here all week too...I'm coming too if you find jobs!

Wait, I have a small business so I only need a part time job.

While rain is not a problem here in AZ, we do have heat. Was riding in 105F two days ago and it was hot wearing gear. Was glad I only had 20 mile to go.

Yup. A nasty day here too. 50* and steady rain is no fun.

The heat wouldn't be too bad, so long as I didn't have to stop. That is when it really gets hot under the gear.

So, where in Arizona are you?

Yeah, there are days that I dread wearing the jacket, but after wiping out doing 90mph, I won't ride without it and my helmet. I really wish I had the $150 for the Venture Air pants, but we just had a baby and my wife's work has been jack arses with her paychecks.

If we hit 117* this year, I might re-evaluate riding the bike for a few days. Tell you what, though, it gets me drinking a lot of water every day.
