Around Armada, Lakeville, Waterford, and Keego Harbor. Further North M-25 around the Bay is a good ride (see the Great Thumb Ride report in the Michigan section of the forum).

Further to the West There is some good stuff around Milford and by the GM Proving Grounds, and then on over into the the Pinkney/Hell area. Even further West and more south is the Irish Hills area, M-12 West out of Saline is a nice ride....Find Manchester near MIS. There are some really great roads near there.

Or do what most of us do, and just pick a direction at random and see what you find.

I second what gat said. Last weekend we did about 200 miles rolling through the Irish Hills, Pinckney, Hell, Ann Arbor. What a grea area!

Another favorite ride is Rochester to Dryden/Memphis through Bell River Rd/Rattle Run. Great road and zero traffic.

You want to go to Bay City, they are towing a war ship there to be a museum for people to walk inside.
