I've been riding my 1985 VT1100 Shadow for eight years now
and I've only seen two bikes the same model on the road as
mine. Did they not make many of the Vt1100's or are they all
in the graveyard?

I have an 86 vt1100...I haven't seen another one yet while I'm riding...how many miles you got on yours...I've got 58668 on mine

current ride: 86 vt1100c previous rides: 93 vt1100c, 91 vulcan 750, cb400f super sport, kx250, xr500, yz 490, xr100

I see a lot more 86's for sale than 85's. I think in 85 more people opted for the 700 over the 1100.
