Hey everyone, can someone please explain to me the major differences between all the Shadow 1100 VTs? From what I understand there are several different variations. I believe I have the basic model--It's a 1996 VT 1100, not the ACE, not the Spirit or Aero (please correct me if I'm wrong). My bike has 4 gears as opposed to the 5 that I think the ACE has? Anyways I look forward to getting schooled, THANKS! *Also I will try and attach a photo of my bike!

The model number should be on the neck. Could you post that?

The model number is just around out of sight at the lower right of the label.

I see exactly where you are talking about but its weird cause its covered by part of the bike, a piece of plastic that I have no idea how to take off. Sorry but thank you for your help anyway.

to my understanding the sabre's have a little lower gear ratio than the spirit's do
