Help identifying this bike - Honda Shadow Forums : Shadow Motorcycle Forum

Hi Guys,

I used to have what I believed to be a honda shadow vt500c 1984. It broke down on me a few years back and I bought a Honda Shadow Sabre 2004. I loved them both. Anyhow, I looked up the vt500c through an google image search and it doesnt look like the same bike I used to have. The engine looks the same as well as the tires but the spedometer and the body style is completely different. Especially the tank.

Can you guys help me identify the bike in the following link?

That is the VT500 Ascot. It's a sportsbike type version of the VT500

Yep, as the others noted it's a VT500FT ASCOT...

The Ascot was dubbed as near maintinance free by the bike mags of the day. They also handle awesome but the brakes are the same as the Shadow so a little underwelming there.
